Bird in Magic Rain with Tears had a great run at the Meteor theatre festival in Bergen. Here's an excerpt from one of the reviews:
The play is braided together in a montage of acting and live video - a mix reminiscent of Robert Le Pages works, but here in an unmistakable 2011-version with you-tube as a best friend. […] Would Ibsen have been writing like this today?

ALAN WINS THE OCTOBERDANS AWARD FOR AMERICA-Visions of love:
The jury says: "Alan has made himself noticed due to artistic boldness and confident innovative works. His attention to detail is un-ambigous and he exudes a striking will to experiment and re-orient himself." The award is in the amount of 100.000 NOK, as well as a three week residency at BIT-teatergarasjen and a print by the artist Arne Rygvold. Hurray!
