We will be talking with U.S partners specifically about our upcoming project Simulacrum.
We are extremely honoured and proud that Legendary fashion photographer Nick Knight wanted to make a fashion film out of Sinnerman.
Knight first saw Sinnerman when it was presented Ivan Putrov’s Gala "Men in Motion" the London Coliseum last year.
Nick wanted to create the film as a celebration of the majesty of the male dancer - a sublime example of the possibilities of the body and the impact of the moving image.
COELACANT earned Andrew Wale and Alan Lucien Øyen a Hedda Award for best play script 2014!
The Hedda Award is the most distinguised award for theatre in Norway, and our five and a half hour long epic also earned us nominations in the categories Best Supporting Actress, Best Director and Best Play! We are extatic and proud.
Some excerpts from some of our rave reviews after the premiere of our last work "Sinnerman" at London Coliseum:
Roars for Proietto, camouflaged in sequins, glittering in the dark like the world’s population of fireflies, and roaring tremendously through Sinnerman, a ferociously demanding solo by Alan Lucien Øyen.

Here's a flashbakc to the 2008 premiere of " ...and carolyn"
Presented over 5 and a half hours, with 12 musicians on stage and a strong international cast of dancers and actors, COELACANTH, is our biggest and most ambitious project ever.
Offering moving performances, exquisite dance, live music and a visually stunning set design, the play is a wild and humorous, but also unique, insight into the life behind the scenes of the theater.
Performing at at the New Norwegian Opera House in Oslo,
On March 27, 2012 winter guests received base funding from the Norwegian Arts Council.
As of 2012 the company will receive annual funding aimed towards developing winter guests as a production platform for the creation of innovate and exciting performances. This means not only a strong increase in annual funding, but enables us to fly by the seat of our pants, as the funds are not earmarked specific projects.
We feel proud and humbled with these news. And very, very excited!

in the press:
The play is braided together in a montage of acting and live video - a mix reminiscent of Robert Le Pages works, but here in an unmistakable 2011-version with you-tube as a best friend. […] Would Ibsen have been writing like this today? - Informationen, (DK)
