Daniel Proietto - performer

Daniel was born in Argentina and educated with Teatro Cólon School of dance in Buenos Aires. Since then Daniel has worked in a range of Ballet companies and contemporary companies in Europe and South America. Since 2006 Proietto has been freelancing and has worked with choreographers such as Ina Christel Johannesen, Amanda Miller, Sharon Eyal and Ohad Naharin. Daniel is an award winning dancer and choreographer and received 1st prize at Hanover international choreography competition in 2007. Since 2008 Daniel has been working with Russel Maliphant Company in London. Daniel received great critical acclaim for his interpretation of Russel Maliphant's solo "Afterlight" and was awarded the title Dancer of the Year 2010 by critics from all over the world for the magazine Dance Europe. Daniel performs "Avenida Corrientes", "Screened Out" "...and Carolyn" and "What's not to love
